Went to Capital Laser after going to another place with poor results for my Brazilian laser hair removal. My initial consult was with Liz and she was very welcoming, informative, and did a test patch on my skin. Decided to go and give them a try. I bought a package of 5 sessions at discounted price. I came back a week later to have my service with Sue and she is a life changer!! Within 2 weeks I noticed growing hairs falling out on their own and by the time I went to my second appointment I had 80% hair reduction. The procedure wasn’t painful and felt like rubber band pops. Definitely recommend to all my girlfriends and family members already.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an expert in Laser hair Removal. I was super picky about where I wanted to go and I did a lot of research before picking this place. They have been doing this for a while and they know what they’re doing. That’s the most important thing for anyone who wants good results. One of the things I appreciate about this place is that Sue would tell you if an area would not give you good results. She tells you, for instance, that this area would be a waste of time and money and most places won’t tell you that. They just want your money and that’s it. They are familiar with every skin/hair type because they have been doing this for over a decade. Sue and Liz are my life saviors 🙂
I had grown tired of the thick beard I’ve had to fight with since I graduated high school, and the constant irritation from shaving every day (and I tried every combination of razors, blades, creams and treatments on my face). So, I finally decided to have laser done, and after some research I decided to give Capital Laser a shot (no pun intended). Sue was very friendly and made sure I was fully informed about the procedure, and after a 30 minute consult I decided that I definitely wanted the procedure, so we started immediately after I gave my face a quick shave (I had shaved that morning, but since I get 5 o’clock shadow at 11AM I had to go back over it again). Sue was definitely right about one thing: it hurt. The good news is it wasn’t so painful I couldn’t stand it, Sue was fast and efficient so it was over quickly. After finishing my full face and neck, she packed my face in frozen paper towels (really creative, really since you mold them to your face) while I rested, and came back in a few times to check on me, change the towels and make sure my skin was cooling off. After wards she went back over the aftercare instructions again to make sure I understood everything and I walked away quite pleased with the experience. The results? Almost immediate. The next few days I was quite busy working and traveling, so I didn’t have a chance to shave, and like Sue said, the hair started growing. The great thing was that after 3 days I could run my hand over my face and the hair was coming off. So here I am, 3 weeks after my first treatment, and there is a DRASTIC reduction in facial hair (and my skin looks better than it has in a decade since I don’t have to scrape a razor over it every morning). There are small patches where new hair has started to pop up, but expecting 100% clearance after one session is unrealistic (and alot of what is coming up is gray hair, so I wasn’t expecting that to be cleared by the laser anyway). I’m looking forward to my next session in a few weeks to see how much more reduction I can get.
I recently completed my third session of laser hair removal for lower leg and bikini area with Sue. I am ecstatic with the results! Several years ago I went to another med spa and paid twice as much for a lesser result. I have considered paying for other areas, however Sue was very upfront and direct with me as to which area will receive maximum benefit from the treatment, I greatly appreciate her professionalism and consultative advice. And, the results are fantastic! It is true that the initial session is painful, however each consecutive treatment (as the hair diminishes) has been less painful. Big thumbs up for Sue! I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Capital Laser, Sue is great – very knowledgable, very friendly and very professional. Sue puts you at ease and is quick which I appreciate as a very busy person yet she never makes me feel rushed and is always very personable. I decided to try Capital Laser after wasting a lot of time and money at another place a couple of years ago. I have fair skin, dark hair and I’m a perfect candidate for laser. However, I was very frustrated by my early experience at different places since the results that I got were only marginal after six sessions.

I first became a client when I was living in NC (5 hours away). I would schedule an appt when in town for meetings and found equipment and knowledge of both Sue and Liz unmatched. I was thrilled to move back to the area and expand my treatment areas. Sue is hands down the most educated and passionate laser hair removal expert in the area. I was badly burned at another local reputable spa and Sue offered comfort through thorough explanation of what had happened to me. I love Sue! I was nervous, but she explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable for each appointment. I booked the twenty-min. consultation. Sue explained the technology behind the equipment. I was interested in the bikini special they were running. We discussed the shape I wanted. She has an opening right after the consultation, so we got started right away! She lightly drew out the shape and it was perfect! I coudn’t be happier with the results. I just finished my last appointment in the package and I’ve never felt more confident about my ladybits-hair! I’ve showed all my girlfriends and now they thinking about it too. If you considered laser hair removal, THIS is the place to go. I did a lot of research beforehand. I have been wanting to do laser hair removal for years, but the time was just never right until recently! I recently moved to Washington DC area for law school in 2017, so I wasn’t very familiar with the possibilities for laser hair removal in the area. I spent a lot of time researching and found Capital Laser to have the best reviews. Let me tell you, they live up to those reviews! Sue is absolutely incredible. She is knowledgable, detail oriented, and concerned about her patients comfortability and results. At the first consultation, she takes ample time to explain the process, the lasers, and the pricing. She makes sure you are 100% comfortable before proceeding. As for the treatment itself, it is absolutely top notch. The rooms are exceptionally clean and Sue knows exactly what she is doing. I have had minimal to no discomfort every single session. I have now had 2 sessions out of my 5- session package, and the results are astounding. I cannot imagine how great it will look after the next sessions. I would like to add that I decided to do this during COVID-19 and the precautions taken by Sue and Capital Laser speak volumes to their character. They have taken every single precaution possible. They take temperatures upon arrival and open all doors with paper towels. They do not allow patients to even touch any surface. I have been beyond impressed with their COVID protocols. not only are they professional, but they are courteous of time. All appointments are in and out within 25 minutes. There is no waiting around in the waiting room for excessive amounts of time. This is worth every penny spent and I will continue to be a Customer of Capital Laser for years to come.
